- WAFACASH IS COMMITTED TO THE ECOLOGICAL CAUSE

The Eco-Cash concept was launched by Wafacash in 2019 as part of a sustainable development project and as a way of improving the citizen’s quality of life.

The Eco-Cash community was created by Wafacash with the aim of catering for a strong ecological and environmental cause that can have significantly positive effects on our environment as well as our country. Through this community, Wafacash organizes, at least once a year, a large-scale activity that benefits from the full mobilization of our employees both at the national and international level.

The 1st event scheduled this year was the Trash Challenge, which was a huge success.

The 2019 Trash Challenge instantly covered 3 countries, 25 cities and 38 places.

- WAFACASH PARTICIPATED IN THE ATLAS SOLIDARITY CARAVAN REGARDING RURAL EDUCATION

Wafacash participated, in partnership with the associations ‘Morocco Foundation’ and ‘A Better Tomorrow ’, in the Atlas Solidarity Caravan for the benefit of 2 regions, namely ERRICH and IMLILI. The main aim of this caravan was to improve the conditions for the education of children in these regions.

The caravan headed first towards the Abdelmounen’s School in the village of Idalioune which has 7 classrooms and 150 students, then to the school of Isni village which has 15 classrooms with a total of 470 students.

 

This initiative reflects the effective involvement of Wafacash and its collaborators for the sake of humanitarian causes through the collection of donations. This feat has made possible the improvement of classrooms, the installation of toilets and other sanitary facilities, the delivery of school bags full of school supplies ...

- VIVE L’ECOLE: WAFACASH & MONEYGRAM SUPPORT SCHOOL CHILDREN IN THE SCHOOL YEAR ONSET

Wafacash, in partnership with MoneyGram, launched on September 12th, 2012 in Casablanca the "Vive l´Ecole" operation. On this occasion, the pupils of the Ibn Badiss school in Sidi Moumen received school supplies (Bags, pencil cases and five notebooks for each pupil) which was a push-forward that will definitely help them succeed in their school life.

 

In sum, 25 public schools across Morocco (Casablanca, Salé, Fès, Tétouan, Béni Mellal, Agadir and Oujda), that is 5,000 students, benefited from this initiative which ended in October 2012.

By launching "Vive l´Ecole" operation, Wafacash has committed, alongside its partner MoneyGram, to not only provide underprivileged students with school supplies, but also boost the schools and support them in their efforts to upgrade and improve. This initiative breathed a new life into the targeted schools. It will undoubtedly contribute to the awakening and growth of the beneficiaries.

- WAFACASH & WESTERN UNION FOR THE POOR: CHORBA FOR ALL!

Faithful to its deeply-rooted spirit of solidarity and citizenship, Wafacash has shown since 2007 its international social commitment and unrivalled generosity during the month of Ramadan by providing and distributing a large number of meals.

Wafacash, in collaboration with its partner Western Union, is leading a charity targeting the most disadvantaged people and families.

- IFTAR, AN OPERATION CARRIED OUT BY WAFACASH EACH MONTH OF RAMADAN SINCE 2008

Every year, Wafacash carries out, during the holy month of Ramadan, the operation "IFTAR" as part of the National Initiative for Human Development (INDH).
